The MFT Sharkticons bring new life to the dull hasbro release. The plastic is an even reflective gun metal mixed with metalic blue and flat purple. Paint and finish is incredible, I was very very impressed. The only fault I could find was on the arms. They are metalic blue with gun metal painted on top. If you’re rough, you may chip the arms. Joint strength was improved upon. The alt mode leg tab is very very tight, and do not pop out while posing. I did feel nervous applying pressure to the Transparent purple Shark (due to clear plastic generally being fragile) but I didn’t experience any breakages in 6+ transformations. The robot design is a little crappy. Hasbro did not do a good job on this. MFT added wrist swivel and improved joints. Which is better, but bot is still a bit crappy. Good for us though, Shark mode looks the best out of Hasbro & Takara. If you’re a fan f this mold, skip the others. Get this set. Paint is great, joints are strong, tabs hold together well and the Transparent Captain shark is surprisingly striking in person. You don’t think you’ll like it, until you see it 😉
